Reapers Shadow announces Johnny Lynch to be 2nd Assistant Director.

’Reapers Shadow’ – An adventure, thriller, horror all thrown into one package. Totally neutral gender for men and women alike.

Gives me great pleasure to announce after being appointed producer in charge of crewing up for this feature film starting soon, that as of a meeting that took place yesterday I was made the 2nd Assistant Director for the 4million pound production ‘Reapers Shadow’

Society has gone to Hell. And as the collapse spreads, Jon Maitland is building a wall. A wall that cost him his family. As the world implodes, Baker has become abandoned and lost in this new world. Maitland needs out, Baker wants out, does Lattimer hold the Key to the ‘Reapers Shadow’?

Reapers Shadow is a surreal tale of Post Apocalyptic England. It is a sordid tale of tortured souls, infusing sex and violence into a clever thriller within which good and evil battle.

So how do I feel? Well am delighted by the appointment by writer Joseph Sultana and director Phil Howard I have worked in many a production office or sometimes when we haven’t had an office and had to make do with just the mobile canteen but what I have seen, and worked with is some of the best Assistant Directors in the business, I have always admired such people who take on the role of 2nd AD and although its not something I aspired to do myself for many years its strange how our goals in life change, I will keep doing the extras of that I have no doubt but I see this as an opportunity to build myself a better career in a business and industry that’s been so generous to me, I just want to do the best job I can from the knowledge I have gained with working sitting behind some of the best”

Mike Bassett – Interim Manager requires extras.

Mike Bassett - Interim Manager

England’s most notorious football manager Mike Bassett played by Ricky Tomlinson (Royal Family, In the Flesh) is heading back to the big screens with a sequel to the cult classic comedy ‘Mike Bassett – England Manager’ also starring Amanda Redman and am looking forward to this one.

Steve Barron, who directed the first film, will return to oversee the sequel alongside screenwriters Rob Sprackling and John R Smith. Steve is probably best known for directing 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' but comes from a docudrama background having directed a host of musicians such as David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Madonna Steve also directed one of my little known guilty pleasures, a film called 'Electric Dreams' in 1984 of which i know at the very mention of the name can have me humming the title track.

We have been asked to supply the extras for this and are filming a scene for the production of the 'KIckstarter' crowd funding campaign of which the first one is the 7th October 2014 in London. We also need people of Thursday 8th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October.

BAFTA is to screen ‘All about Janet’

A short film we supplied the extras to ‘All about Janet’ directed by Phil Howard will be having its premiere in November, The film shot in London and Birmingham is a short starring the extremely talented Valarie Monk and whom we have known and first came aware of about 3 years ago.

We would like to wish the film the success it deserves and my best wishes to the cast and crew and can’t wait to catch up with you at the premiere of the 22nd November.

Also am pleased to say that the sequel to the film is in preproduction and our very own Johnny Lynch’s  landed a role playing Gary, Similar to his character in ‘Terror Nation’ he’s brutal but not as psychotic as Paul Milland where violence was never far from his mind. When asked Johnny Lynch said that “I remember well what it took to get into the mind of that character, Gary whose violence comes from his necessity to feed his drug habit and is hell bent on destruction for short term gains. I will be giving the character all I can muster to give a performance I can look back and be proud off”

‘All about Janet’ will be released in November.

The Lynch Mob on the BBC1 fantasy drama Atlantis.

Filming as now finished for ‘The Lynch Mob’ supporting artists on the BBC1 fantasy drama ‘Atlantis’

For the last 2 months our guys have been making the way to Chepstow and Bristol for the 2nd series of this popular Saturday afternoon television programme.

With intensive make up, often taking up to four hours to apply they all played characters of undead soldiers and will feature hugely when aired later in the year.

In what was an intensive and exhaustive casting process from so many that applied we and the BBC believe we got the right people for the job and am looking forward to seeing this one on my TV screen.

Well done to all the supporting artists that took part in the filming and thank you o the production company for thinking of us.

One Direction – Midnight Memories gets 28 million views on its first day.

Boy band One Direction and The Lynch Mob Extras met up to film the title track of the new album at the end of last year,

With it been a time of year when its cold and wet outside the guys and girls from the agency on a suggestion from Johnny to give all the money they got for the job to the homeless charity that we at The Lynch Mob represent.

The band released the chart topping hit to its global audience and got an amazing 28 million YouTube hits on its first day. The production from Fullwell 73 was one of the last filmed at Merton Studios which is due to close.
Want to thank Fulwell 73 for the job and to all the extras that turned up that wet and cold night that gave the money for the job to the homeless.
